True Texas BBQ - Melissa | Authentic Texas Brisket, Ribs & Sides with Friendly Service

I got the two item combo with the sliced lean brisket and the ribs some cornbread and potato salad. Brisket was absolutely delicious melted in your mouth. I added a little bit of the barbecue sauce. The spicy and the sweet THE ribs fell apart in your mouth and honestly didn’t even need any barbecue sauce. I was a little surprised by the cornbread, cause it had some jalapeños or some green kind of peppers in it the potato salad was delicious. Just the right amount of mustard. The service was outstanding when I went to pick up my food and when I went to get a box to bring my leftovers home cause it was quite a hefty portion, my lunch was $20 but I did get enough to bring home for dinner so it is definitely worth the price 10 out of 10 Totally recommend..

This was my second time visiting the Melissa HEB with my mom. Both times, we were incredibly satisfied with our meals. If you get nothing else, get the collard greens and fried okra! Cristy, who has been there both visits, is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. She's one of the reasons we will continue to go back!
